Pallets for Manufacturing

The short answer

Manufacturers need pallets engineered to real loads and a reliable way to clear the empties and offcuts that production generates. Evergrain designs custom pallets to your weight and handling requirements and runs a recovery loop for the used units flowing through your plant.

Pallets for Manufacturing

The pain points

  • Standard sizes that do not fit heavy or odd loads
  • Pallet failures risking product and safety
  • Scrap wood accumulating on site
  • Supply gaps stalling shipping
  • Inconsistent deck stiffness causing sag under machinery and coils
  • Splinters, loose fasteners, and debris contaminating clean-line areas
  • Export shipments held up by missing or improper ISPM-15 treatment
  • Mixed offcuts and broken units that haulers charge premium rates to remove

How Evergrain helps

Engineered custom pallets

Built to your exact load rating and footprint — no over- or under-building.

Reliable standing supply

Scheduled delivery so the shipping dock never waits on pallets.

Scrap recovery

We collect and recycle used and damaged units instead of dumpstering them.

Load-tested deck designs

For heavy machinery, coils, and dense product we spec deck boards and support to control deflection and prevent sag. You get a platform that holds shape through handling and storage.

Export compliance handled

We supply properly heat-treated, stamped ISPM-15 pallets so international shipments clear customs without holds. That keeps outbound freight moving on schedule.

Line-side clean supply

For clean or sensitive assembly areas we can provide de-nailed, debris-checked units that reduce splinters and loose fasteners near your equipment. Cleaner pallets mean fewer contamination and jam issues.

Full wood-waste loop

Beyond used pallets we recover offcuts and broken units and route them to recycling or grinding. That replaces premium dumpster hauls with a single accountable diversion stream.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you engineer for heavy machinery?

Yes — share the weight, dimensions, and handling method and we will design a pallet that carries it safely.

Do you offer export-ready pallets?

We provide ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets for international shipments.

Can you match legacy or non-standard footprints?

Yes. If your line was built around an unusual pallet size we reverse-engineer it from a sample or drawings and reproduce it consistently. That avoids costly retooling of conveyors and fixtures.

How do you control pallets flexing under heavy or dense loads?

We adjust deck board thickness, spacing, and stringer or block support to limit deflection for your specific load. For very heavy items we can add reinforcement so the platform stays rigid.

Do you take our wood scrap and broken pallets together?

Yes. We can pull spent pallets, damaged units, and clean wood offcuts in the same program so you have one diversion stream instead of several waste contracts.

Can you keep buffer stock so we never run short?

We hold your spec in reserve and deliver on a schedule tied to your production rate. If you signal a ramp-up, we scale delivery ahead of it so shipping is never waiting on pallets.

Are recycled pallets strong enough for manufacturing loads?

Graded and remanufactured recycled pallets are inspected and rebuilt to a target strength, and for demanding loads we spec heavier builds. Many plants run recycled stock for the bulk of their loads and reserve custom builds for the heaviest.
