Our story
We built a business on second chances
Founded in 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee, Evergrain exists to keep timber in service and out of the landfill — proving that the circular economy is not a slogan, it is a supply chain.
The short answer
Evergrain is a Memphis-based pallet company that buys, sells, recycles, and hauls used and new wood pallets nationwide. Founded in 2009, we run closed-loop programs that keep each pallet in service for five to seven lives, cutting both cost and carbon for the businesses we serve.

The road here
From one yard to a national loop
- 2009
A stack of scrap, a stubborn idea
Evergrain began in a small Memphis yard with one conviction: a broken pallet is not garbage, it is a repair waiting to happen. We started collecting, fixing, and reselling — one board at a time.
- 2013
From repair shop to program
Customers stopped asking for pallets and started asking us to run their whole loop — pickup, supply, and reporting. We built scheduled routes and a real grading standard.
- 2017
Closing the loop
We launched retrieval and remanufacturing so the same wood could cycle for years, and started handing customers hard diversion numbers for their sustainability reports.
- 2021
Backhaul & logistics
Anchored at America’s freight crossroads, we paired deliveries with empty pickups to erase empty miles — cheaper for customers, lighter on the planet.
- 2026
The circular standard
Today Evergrain runs full closed-loop programs across the country, still guided by that first stubborn idea: keep the wood working.
What we stand for
Four values, zero waste
Circular first
We push the greenest option that fits — recycled and remanufactured before new, every time.
Honest counts
Every load is counted and documented. No mystery piles, no inflated invoices.
Waste is a design flaw
If wood can be reused, it will be. Only true end-of-life material gets ground for mulch.
Right-spec, not over-spec
We build the lightest pallet that carries your load — over-building is wasted wood and money.
