FAQ

General

What does Evergrain do?

We buy, sell, recycle, and haul used and new wood pallets across the USA, running full closed-loop programs from our Memphis, TN hub.

How do I get a quote?

Use the form at the top of any page, or the “Get a Quote” button that follows you as you scroll. We reply by email — usually the same business day.

Do you have a phone number?

We operate on email rather than a phone line, which keeps our overhead low and our responses documented. The quote form or a direct email reaches a human fastest.

Where are you located?

Our hub is at Malone Rd, Memphis, TN 38118, USA — at the center of America’s freight network.

What areas do you serve?

We run regional routes from Memphis and partner with a national carrier network for wider coverage. Enter your city in the quote form and we’ll confirm service.

Do you buy and sell, or just one?

Both — and we recycle and transport too. You can sell us surplus pallets and buy graded stock from the same partner, often on the same route.

FAQ

About our services

Do you charge to recycle my pallets?

It depends on volume, mix, and location. High-demand sizes in good condition often earn a rebate; mixed or damaged loads may carry a small handling fee that is still far below landfill tipping costs. We quote every account individually.

What is your minimum order?

We serve everything from a single bundle for a small shop to recurring multi-truckload contracts. Tell us your quantity in the form and we will confirm availability and freight.

How much are my pallets worth?

Value depends on size, grade, quantity, and your location. The 48x40 GMA core is worth the most; specialty sizes vary. Send a count and photos through the form for a same-week quote.

How quickly can you come?

Most first pickups happen within about 48 hours of a confirmed request; standing accounts run on a fixed schedule.

How far do you deliver?

We run our own regional routes and tap a national carrier network for longer hauls. Share your destination in the form for a freight quote.

What is the lead time on custom pallets?

It depends on design and volume. Simple remanufactured specs move quickly; engineered new-build runs are quoted with a firm lead time once the drawing is approved.

Does retrieval make sense for my volume?

It shines when you ship a lot of pallets to a repeating set of destinations. If your outbound is scattered and one-off, a buy/sell loop may fit better — tell us your pattern and we will advise honestly.

FAQ

About our products

Are recycled pallets as strong as new?

For the vast majority of loads, yes. A graded Grade A recycled 48x40 carries typical distribution loads comfortably. For extreme weights or tight export specs we will recommend new or engineered units.

Can you heat-treat for international shipping?

Yes — we provide ISPM-15 compliant, heat-treated and stamped new pallets for export.

How is this different from a recycled pallet?

A recycled pallet is an existing used pallet repaired and re-graded. A remanufactured pallet is rebuilt from individual reclaimed boards to a target spec — useful when you need a size that used stock does not supply.

Do I need block pallets?

If you run automated handling, dense cross-docking, or ship internationally, block or Euro pallets are usually worth it. For simple stringer handling, a standard 48x40 GMA is more economical.
